Mailchimp & SOCIFI Mailing list synchronization manual

Allows to synchronize visitors email, first name, last name, birth year or birthdate to predefined Mailchimp distribution list

Requirements

1. SOCIFI Account ID
2. SOCIFI Brand ID
3. Mailchimp username
4. Mailchimp API Key
5. Mailchimp distribution list ID

Step-by-step guide

1. Get SOCIFI Account ID and Brand ID can be obtained from the SOCIFI Dashboard
   Look at your URL: https://admin.socifi.com/en-GB/1234/My_brand-4567
   Where: 1234 is your account ID and 4567 your brand ID
   
   
2. Get Mailchimp API Key and username
   You will find the menu under your Account → Extras → API Keys.
   Log in to Mailchimp and generate a new API Key viz screenshot.
   The username will appear in the User column.
   
   
3. Get Mailchimp distribution list ID
   You will find the menu under Lists → Your list →  Settings → List name and defaults.
   
   

4. Set distribution list to keep extended information

   Only username will be kept by default. To store information as firstname, lastname, birthdate you have to extend columns.

   You will find the menu under Lists → Your list → Settings → List fields and *|MERGE|* tags.
