How to Create A Beacon Ad Campaign (Managing Nearby notifications)

SOCIFI currently supports Nearby Notifications thru "Click to Website" Ad Format.

You can specify:

  • Title shown on the mobile device
  • URL where you want to redirect user once the user tap on the notification

Setting up the Account

  1. First of all, you need to have a Beacon Lite or Beacon Professional account. You can open such Account at SOCIFI.com (Get Started).
  2. Once your account is opened, create a new Brand (your Account allows you to create unlimited Brands under one Account).

  3. Add Credit/Debit Card details into Settings/Billing. See SOCIFI Beacon Pricing.

Creating a Beacon Ad Campaign

  1. Select your Brand (if not selected already). How to switch to a different Brand? Simply click on the button "Brands" on the top bar in your SOCIFI Dashboard.
  2. Click on the button "Add New Ad", select Self-Promotion Ad and select Click to Website ad format.
  3. Set up a creative
    1. Fill the "Click-through URL"s - those are URL to which the user will be redirected when clicking the Nearby notification
    2. Fill the "Text" - This will be used as a title of the Nearby notification.
    Other settings are currently not used and you do not need to fill them.
  4. In the "Beacons" section, select the beacons on which you want to configure the Nearby notification.
  5. Click save.

Localization note

Unfortunately, the Google Nearby notifications does not support "default" localization. Thus the default one is used as an English one. You are free to add as many languages as you want.
