SOCIFI Glossary

Account owner
The email address of your partner that is used for SOCIFI Dashboard.

Bounce rate
Bounce Rate is the percentage of single-page sessions in which the person (visitor) left the splash page without any interaction.

Brand views
The total amount of views of the first Brand Page. When a person views the Brand Page multiple times, each view is counted in this number.

Cap type
When you set up frequency capping, you set the maximum number of how many times a given ad can be displayed to any particular person in a particular time period.

Claims limit
Maximum number of offers that can be generated. Once reached, the offer ends.

The total amount of all clicks on the ad - only "Connect and visit" or button that completes the action or conversion". Clicks indicate the number of times a user has clicked an ad. Click is not counted by click on “connect” button because it means that user skipped the ad.

The total amount of clicks on the ad or connect button.

The average cost per click. 

Clicks / Impressions = (%), the percentage of users who clicked on an advertisement.

Cost Per Thousand impressions (ad views). 

In this case, you would set a Percentage Goal Type of 100, and a Lifetime Impression Cap of 200,000. (Additionally, you could set a Daily Impression Cap to prevent the ad from serving more than 5,000 impressions per day, for instance.)

Day parting
Day Parting allows you to limit an ad to be served on specific days, times, or both.

Your earnings from third-party ads displayed on your network. This amount is an estimate that is subject to change when your earnings are verified for accuracy at the end of every month.

Your estimated revenue per thousand impressions (all type of goals included: clicks, action, views).

Estimated earnings

Expenditure for your paid advertising through SOCIFI Media Network.

Expiration date
Offer expiration date.

The average number of times a unique visitor sees your ad over a given time period (Impressions/reach).

Gender of users
You can choose to target ads based on gender.

The total amount of all ad views (only the ad page), how often an ad is shown. An impression is counted each time the SMN ad is shown.

SOCIFI location targeting allows your ads to appear in the geographic locations that you choose (e.g. just City name or City + Street or City and Street and street No)

New visitor

Every new visitor's MAC address recognized in SOCIFI Captive Portal or existing user's MAC address recognized in SOCIFI Captive Portal in a new session later than 30 days from the last visit.

Offer description
The description is displayed as a part of the offer that user receives via email.

Offer title
The title of the offer is shown in the ad and in the subject and the body of sent email.

Online Redemption Link
A website where people can redeem your offer.

OS & Device targeting
You can choose to target ads to specific device / os.

Page load time
Page load time for a sample of splash pages. You can use the information in this report to assess how well your splash page performs in terms of how quickly users are able to see and interact with content.

Estimated amount of unique visitor who visits the hotspot.

Returning visitor
The user is counted as a returning visitor, when an existing user's MAC address is recognized in SOCIFI Captive Portal in a new session within last 30 days.

The total amount of all sessions. A session is counted after the specific device attempts to connect and the splash screen is triggered. If the user continues and gets connected, the Session time set in the Dashboard Settings/Brand/Authentication will apply. If the user won't connect than the active session will expire after 4 hours of inactivity. The 4 hours are compromise between the correct session counting and not keeping the session up forever.

Set age
You can choose to target ads based on specific age range.

Session time (Splash frequency)
The duration of the connection. Customize how often your users will see the splash page.

Terms and conditions
Terms and conditions are displayed as a part of the voucher that users receive via email.

Type (Preferred deals)
The Pre-Paid method is being used as a primary and standard payment method. The advertiser pays his advertising in advance. Post-Paid allows Advertiser to pay you after the campaign ends. You as a Publisher charge the Advertiser as it's your own relationship and you are responsible to pay us monthly, no matter when you charge the Advertiser.

Unique visitor

Uniqueness of the visitor is based on the MAC address of used device.

The total amount of views of the first brand page (Local brand + SMN brands).
