Pay-Thru Settings

Please follow the instructions below on setting up Pay-Thru (premium internet) plans.

  1. Login to the dashboard
  2. Click on the "Settings" tab on the left side of the dashboard.
  3. Under "Settings" click on Brand.
  4. Under "Brand" you will see the Pay-Thru (Pay-As-You-Go Internet) menu tab in the center of the screen. Click on "Pay-Thru (Pay-As-You-Go Internet)".


    5. Switch on "Allow login through Pay-Thru". When Pay-Thru login is activated your customers will see the option to get premium internet in the login page.


6. Under "Pay-Thru General Settings" use the drop down menu to select a payment currency in which you receive payments from customers.

7. Enter a phone number and support email address where customer can contact you in case of any issues.

8.Set the idle time between free Wi-Fi sessions using the drop down menu.

Your visitors can be online for free for the time period you set. After this free period expires, the visitors has two options. Option 1: Purchase one of your Pay-Thru premium internet plans to gain access to the internet or Option 2: Wait until the idle time is over to connect for free again.

Now it is time to setup your pricing plans:


9. For each plan you can set the length of the internet connection using the drop down menu on the top right corner. You can choose between minutes, hours or days.

10. Label your your Wi-Fi plan (optional). The name of the plan will be displayed to your customers on the Captive Portal (login page). 

11. Set the maximum download and upload speed of the Internet connection. We recommend that you test your current broadband speed by using a broadband speed tester online. This will help you find out what download and upload speeds your currently get.

12. Set the price for one device plan and multi device plan. The one device plan means only one device will be able to connect to premium internet. The multi device plan means that a total of 3 devices can connect to premium internet for an additional cost. Customers who select a multi device plan will receive a PIN code via email to share and connect the other devices.

13. Next, you have the option to enter text about the advantages of premium internet to be displayed in the Captive Portal (login page). In case you leave this area empty, the initial content will be displayed on the Captive Portal (download / upload speed, duration etc.). 

14. Add more plans by clicking on "Add Another Pay-Thru Plan" button at the bottom.


15. Hit the "Preview" button to see what your plan looks like. Once it is all set hit the "Save" button.
